If you're at all interested in AZ politics, immigration, or current events, here's a good read: (just copy and paste it into your browser) http://www.nytimes.com/2006/10/15/magazine/15immigration.html?_r=1&oref=slogin

Like a good policy student, I took your article to class and claimed it as my own :) Anyways, it caused a little bit of a rucus (sp?) and one of the students called Pearc an a#@ hole! I thought it was funny. We had a minor discussion in class and the teacher said he was from one of those radical conservative groups from Mesa, Chandler, and Scottsdale. I heard one of the other students ask a neighbor quietly if he was Mormon. That was a little uncomfortable...first b/c I didn't know and second b/c she didn't sound like she was being mean, she was just really curious.

He is Mormon. He and I have serious issues. We get into email duals periodically. I'm moving into his stake in 2 weeks so I think I might accidentally egg all of his re-election signs in our neighborhood! He's a loon. (And I can say that cuz it's my blog!)

That's always nice to have such public displays of good Mormonism!!! Maybe you'll be his wife's visiting teacher and provide insight to their family :) You know the Lord works in mysterious ways.
