ha ha. Liz took Elijah for a ride the other day in the back-pack and then called me on the phone mid-ride. yeah... I don't really like the idea of the backpack + two-wheel bike. Call me overprotective, worrywort, etc, etc. I think the bike trailer is the way to go. But they are hard to find and $$.
the bike trailor scares me. i think it's going to detach and roll into oncoming traffic. i want one of those baby seats that goes in front of me so he's strapped into a chair but is facing forward and can see. again, the $$ issue.
detach and roll into traffic? jew cra'sy main (your crazy man). Aren't they bolted on? I say the lower to the ground the better. My fear is that the bike will tip over and they baby in the chair or in your backpack will go crashing down.
have you ridden a bike lately? how often does the bike just tip over? you can put your feet on the ground at any point and you dont fall over! it's not a motorcycle nor are any of us taking our babies on some trecherous mountain ride were tipping over is a worry. am i right?
tires pop, things run out in front of you, slippery gravel, etc, etc. Those things are more real than having the trailer detach and roll into traffic. Since when do you ride your bike in traffic with yer kid anywho? right?

Are you sure that's safe. What if Brad were to fall. Just kidding. Looks like fun and a little chilly.

I just looked at those pictures and thought, "wow, Jill and Brad are so smart! We are going to do that with Landon!"
