Our one-toothed kid

It's a great morning at the Stoddard house! Since Cohen learned to crawl, he's been waking up in the night, stuck in the corner of his crib. (Well, that was initially why he woke up and then I think it evolved into a really, really bad habit.) So for over a month, he's been up several times a night.
I'm delighted to report that Brad seems to have fixed the problem. He read about a remedy in our Baby Whisperer book and after one night using the technique, Cohen slept 12 solid, GLORIOUS hours last night! Hallelujah!

hog tie and gag. JUST KIDDING. child abuse humor is hardly humorous.

it's called the pick up/ put down method. you literally pick up to soothe and then put them right back down until they wear out and give up. for older babies that sit up or stand up in the crib, you dont actually pick them up... you just lay them back down. they sit up, you lay them back down, over and over and over. the book said it might take an hour but it only took 20-30 minutes. he had to do it twice that night and then it's been smooth sailing.

need to borrow the book?
