The boys and I went on vacation on Saturday... to Scottsdale. We are in the market for modern fit shirts for Brad so we went to Scottsdale Fashion Square's Banana Republic. I seriously felt like we'd crossed the state line into California. Those Scottsdale people dont look like us. They dont dress like us. They dont drive cars like our cars. They are totally foreign and fascinating to me!

After browsing the mall, we had dinner at this super trendy new place, inappropriately named the Pink Taco. (We've heard good things about the food and it was close to the mall.) It was truly an enjoyable experience, satisfying both my taste buds and my people-watching-obsession.

What is it about Scottsdale that differentiates them from us? Can it really just be the size of our bank accounts?

I love Scotts. It's the place to go on vacation not far from home....
