Jill, I've been making bread since I was a kid and all my life I always used a serated knife. It worked alright, but I didn't now any better. Well, for Tanner's birthday I bought him an electric serated knife. Let me tell you, it's the best invention ever. It cuts bread beautifully and you can even cut it pretty thin. I bought it at Bed, Bath and Beyond. I highly recommend it for cutting homemade bread.
By the way, your bread looks delicious.
Shar's sells good knives and even a bread slicer so your slices come out looking so perfect. Did you ever think you would be such a suzy homemaker? Me either.
tell me you put the recipe up on grandma's syrup!
Get an electric knife and a presto slicing guide off of ebay. That's what I've been using and it works great. Bread looks yummy. Bring some over tomorrow for a taste test.
I am looking for a good recipe!!! Will you PUHLEASE put it up on the blog....
My Daughter-in-law, Raechl, is selling Pampered Chef so she can stay home with her two little boys. Your bread looks beautiful and definately deserves to look as beautiful after it is sliced. I'll bet it tastes really, really wonderful.
I sell Pampered Chef! If you want it right now, let me know so I can combine it with another show I'm doing and save you some $$ on shipping! The knife is only $8.75 and is a lifetime guarantee!
wait. you didn't use a breadmaker?! you're so domestic.
'Bread' is one of my favorite musical groups. Once I invited my Brad over to listen to a 'Bread' record. He thought that meant come over and make out...but we really did listen to a 'Bread' record. He doesn't really like their music.
Yum. I'm really impressed.
Is that wheat or white? Did you make white bread? I will be shocked! It looks so yummy!
