Maybe you've heard of this book that Jerry Seinfield's wife wrote on how to sneak veggies into your family's food. I'm always trying to alter recipies to make them healthier so I ordered the book from Amazon and it came today. Cohen is pretty good about eating veggies but if we can get even more into our diet (like in our brownies and french toast!) then sign me up!In fetus news, I had a nervous moment at the doctor's office today. He didn't do an ultrasound, he was just listening to the heart beat. He listened for a while, raised an eyebrow and cocked his head, kept listening, moved the monitor around a bit, pushed harder, kept listening...
Finally he said, "I've got the heart beat there's just a lot of intestinal noises too so it's hard to get a count."
Oh my gosh man! Say that 5 minutes ago
so I'll stop holding my breath! Good grief!

Hm I'm wondering if we have the same OB- last week he couldn't find the heartbeat for several minutes and finally busted out the ultrasound machine- I was fighting back tears! Said something about it being a new doppler and he wasn't impressed...

oh i hate it when they take extra long to find the heartbeat. man it makes me want to cry. glad everything's ok! hoping 4 a girl for u, but boys are fun too (u already know that).
My guess is a boy! Although, it's probably a girl. :)Good luck, I'm glad you heard the heart beat, it is very scary when they do that. I need to order that book, asap.

Sometimes doctors can be so weird about those things...don't they know that WE don't do this everyday??
I am never right when it comes to guessing the sex. I'll have to ask my 5 and 6 year olds and get back to you. They were SURE that our baby was a boy and were right.
I've been the one behind the doppler looking for the heartbeat. Sometimes those little babies hide and it takes awhile to find the heartbeat. Not so fun. I'm excited to hear if it's a boy or girl!

Working at an ultrasound place I see alot of guesses before they find out, does Cohen say if it's a boy or girl? I need to know this before I guess. :)

That would freak me out. Nobody likes silence in a doctor's office. I would have had sweaty palms if I were you.
