No news is... no news

Long time, no blog. I have cute pictures and videos to post but not the energy to do so. Brad has been sick for almost a month... literally. First it was a cold that turned into a sore throat followed by a sinus infection. Today, he's puking his guts out. Poor guy. I told him that it's because he gets soda every time we eat out! He promised to order water instead. :) Sicky Daddy= busy Mommy. I'm always aware of how helpful he is with the boys but now I really appreciate (and miss) his help.

In other non-news, I quit my job this week. What's that? Didn't know I had a job? That's because I only worked 3 actual hours. No, I didn't hate it. In fact, I think I would have loved it. I just couldn't make it feel right to be working. I'm the Mommy. Daddy is going to get our new business off the ground while I assist him and tame our monkeys. I'm glad to know the "perfect" job is out there and I hope they'll take me back once my little people are in school.

And another soccer season is over. I dont even know how many years it is now that I've been playing co-ed rec. soccer in Gilbert. I LOVE IT! It's a great work out, stress release and ME time. I hope to play again in February.

Jace is sitting really well now. He's DANG cute, too. The outsider may think he looks just like Cohen but Brad and I think they look more and more different as Jace gets older. He's a pretty happy kid... well let me clarify that... He's happy if he cant see me or if I'm holding him. If he can see me walking around, accomplishing anything, he grunts and fusses until I give him my undivided attention. I usually just oblige him because he rewards me with the most adorable giggles! I dont mind spending my days nibbling on him.

I'm counting down the days until Thanksgiving in Thatcher! Oh the joy that fills my soul when I spend Thanksgiving in Thatcher...

Ah, way to be the mommy. That's why I quit taking shoots. Even though it was just a few hours a week, it was a few more hours I could be with my kids (or blogging about them...haha).
And I'm jealous of your soccer skills! I've always wanted to play. I'm sure it would take a miracle to get a league started up here. Guess I'lll just stick with volleyball and softball...blah. Do you remember in softball when we were kids and you licked Ginger Brown's bloody knee? ha! Anyway, hope Brad get's better. Sick husbands are the hardest!

Your kids will only be exclusively yours for such a short time before you have to share them with the world.

I'm happy that you quit your job! I know the kind of stress that it adds to an already stressful day with kids. What business are you starting?

Brad is a no good bum. Sheesh!
Tell him I said that too. First he fakes skin cancer, and then he fake pukes? What's next?
Come on BARD.

I order soda when ever we go out too (which is often) and I'm not sick. I think you need to find a different cause.

Wow. Amanda said it well. I think I shall slap that one on a cross stitch or something crafty.
I hope Brad feels better. Being sick is just a big bummer -for everyone!

I agree with AK about the soda.

So what is this new business you're talking about starting?

The soda is more of an inside joke than reality. I just cant stand spending $1-3 on soda every time we eat out. I buy him 24 packs to drink at home for the same price that he pays for one glass when we eat out!
