Happy Birthday Baby Jace!

What a year!

The noisy baby who wouldn't sleep has grown up to be the most enjoyable one year old on the planet. This kid is B-U-S-Y. Cohen calls him the Baby Monster but it's an affectionate term, I'm sure. We all adore him. He's always been a growler. He thinks Cohen is the greatest thing ever and will laugh uncontrollably at anything he does. He also LOVES his mama. Maybe he just isn't aware that the umbilical chord has actually been severed. If we're in the same room, he wants to be touching me. He sleeps 11 hours at night and takes two decent naps. He loves to snuggle his blanket when he sleeps. He loves to be outside in the dirt. He loves taking a bath. He likes to be read to and sung to. He pretends to talk on the phone and to use the tv remote. The 4 teeth he got at 9 months are pretty much his trademark. They are adorable! He took his first steps a few months ago but didn't really start walking until this week. He loves to put on other people's shoes. He climbs on anything in his reach. He held as still as a soldier during his first official haircut this week. I could go on and on...

We lovety love him.
