A hairy situation... bwah bwah bwaaaaaah.

Hi... Brad here. I have been doing some number crunching and I think that I spend about $9,500 a year on disposable razors (figures adjusted for inflation), give or take a few thousand. I currently use the Gillette Mach 3 Turbo but the new blades cost a small fortune, even from Costco.
So, I'm thinking of going electric. The problem is that I have a very sensitive neck quadrant that gets ingrown hairs and is easily irritated. Does anyone have a husband that loves his electric shaver? Let me know.
Thanks for your support in my shaving endeavors.

I've tried a hand full of electric razors over my 18 year or so shaving career and I've always taken them back. Nothing beats the Mach 3 Turbo! Sadly, the way I try to get around the high cost of blades is by asking for them for birthdays, Christmas, fathers day, etc. Now if my wife would just stop using my razor I wouldn't have to ask for them so often.

I also use the Mach 3 turbo. And you're right, the cartridges do cost a small fortune. Now, although I do have experience in men's disposable razors, I, unfortunately, do not have experience in electric ones. Nor does my husband. Good luck on your endeavor.

Eric uses an electric shaver called a Braun 8985. He loves it, it shaves close, usually doesn't pull. If you go to fast or pull away it grabs. Anywhoo he will never go back to a razor. I bought it at good ol wally world. It was rated #1 on consumer reports! Oh and I love this part about it, it has a self cleaning system on it!

Mine loves his electric shaver. Philips Norelco 7140XL. He still uses a regular razor occationally but the electric guy is the fav.

Dude, we just need to get some laser hair removal. How sweet would that be? No more razor refills, razor burn, 5'o-clock shadow, etc, etc.

Brad....thank you for always making me laugh! You're the best! Hope you're feeling better soon. I know what it feels like to be in constant severe pain for days on end. NOT fun! Thankfully you get better!
