I got a thumbs up from him while he got his teeth cleaned today. He was such a champ!
Do people know that you are supposed to take toddlers to the dentist? I didn't know. Luckily, I have a sister in law to keep me informed of the kind of things that should be written in The Parent's Handbook. (If there were such a thing.)
I took him to ABC Pediatric Dentistry upon said sister in law's recommendation and was very happy with them. It couldn't have gone smoother. Well that's not entirely true. I would have been happier had the dentist not found two tiny cavities in his front teeth. But other than that, it couldn't have gone smoother!
We left there with:
a new Lightening McQueen toothbrush,
Zurg flosser,
travel size toothpaste,
2 bouncy balls
and a finger skateboard.
What did you get at the dentist? That's what I thought.

Very cute! I can't believe he is SO old. Sorry I didn't get the picture to you...I'm glad someone did. I was having troubles getting the picture off my card.
Was he sedated at all? Did they do the 'fillings' at that appt.? I've been needing to bring Elijah in for an exam and cleaning. I'm glad things went so well!
Oooo wish we had dentists like that here!
They scheduled a follow up to fix the cavities. They are just going to gas him since he was so good the first time around. I guess if kids have a hard time then they sedate them for fillings.
Sorry about the cavity. Sometimes ignorance is bliss:)
