WANTED

My boys would LOVE a marble/ball run for Christmas.
Any ideas where I can get one for less than $25?
Used is perfectly fine with me.
I just assumed there would be several for sale on craigslist but I have been sadly mistaken! New, they are $40 up to well over $100.
That's not happening at this house.
Especially not this year.

Thanks for keeping your peepers peeled for me!

I have a plastic one with pieces you have to build yourself. google marbleworks. Do you want it?

oooo, yeah. I've been looking for one of those too for quite some time, for the boys.
We spent hours playing w/ this toy growing up huh? Maybe that was just back in the day when life was a lot less instant gratification.

hey, check this out. http://www.discountschoolsupply.com/Product/ProductDetail.aspx?product=15470&category=836&es=8178110000G&CMP=KNC-Google&s_kwcid=TC|10010|marble%20race||S||3340907993&gclid=CLD2u-Lv2Z0CFShSagodGjqdrw

I'm thinking about this one. Only if I literally glued all the little plastic pieces together and maybe put it on a small plywood board or something. Price is nice though.

The plastic build it yourself ones are ok but too advanced for my kids at this age. We've played with them at Jeff's house and the whole time is spent me trying to build it and Cohen whining. The old school wooden one is just hours of lining up the marbles and watching them roll!

my brother in law made his kids one, I'll check and see if they still play with it...

My grandma has had one of those at her house ever since I can remember. Still to this day, it's the most popular toy at her house and the kids still fight over it. Such a simple idea. Did you look on ebay?

I found them on ebay and etsy but they are $40 plus shipping. Probably worth the money ultimately, but we just cant spend that this year.

It truly is the toy every house should have!

Hey Jill this is Amber! I wish I had checked your blog earlier my kids and I saw one at a yard sale a few Saturdays back for .50 no joke! My kids were begging for it and I said no because we have a baby in the house and I didn't want marbles around! Dang it!
