Milestones

I'll spare you the weeks and just say that Cohen will be 4 months old on the 16th. Despite his current erratic eating and sleeping schedules, which we attribute to him having another ear infection and having never fully recovered from our Hawaii trip, he is darling! We've figured out several sure fire giggle-getters including any up and down movement while saying "bouncy, bouncy, bouncy" repeatedly. Any of you that have kids know the pure joy of making your child laugh. That laughter is like a giant eraser, making me forget how little sleep I've had or how long it's been since I had any grown up time. He also grabs things and is getting better at holding on to them long enough to send them straight into his mouth like a guided missile. He makes a sour face about most things that go in his mouth but he still tastes everything he touches. Tummy time is also becoming less agonizing. He used to cry and just lay his head down when put on his tummy. Now he actually holds his head up and tries to look around for a bit. I guess I can stop worrying that he'll be the only kid at preschool that still cant hold his head up!

Brad has a conference in LA all this week so Cohen and I are off to Thatcher for another visit. We’ll be back on Saturday in time for Eli’s blessing.

I'm even worse. Due to my husband's daily picture blog, I can tell you she's 48 days old but I have to stop and think a second if you want to know weeks.
