Let's talk about Brad for a minute. He's great, isn't he? I'm flying to Utah Thursday morning for a friend's wedding and wont be back until Saturday morning. Brad is staying home with Cohen. Pretty wonderful, wouldn't you agree?
And it's not just this one gesture that makes him so fabulous. He wakes up with Cohen 6 out of 7 mornings so that I can work out. I come home to find them sitting on the couch in their jammies. Brad and I joke that we moved to this neighborhood so I could be close to Amy, my running parter. Exercise keeps me sane and I appreciate Brad's acknowledgement of that. I'm a different mom, and person, than I was when we lived in Queen Creek. I shower, wear make up, leave the house, see other humans... and it's all because my husband was willing to give up his dream house to move us back to Mesa.
I love you, honey. You're a gem.

That's so great. I feel you on the working out... mean and onry I am if I haven't had it!!! You are both so great!
A child's biggest influence is their parent of the same sex. It is so nice to have Brad be so wanting to do these things to spend time with his baby boy and also give you the time to work out. It will give Cohen a huge sense of security, even in these younger years, to have his dad be so actively engaged in his life. I learned all this as ASU in a Com. class on relations within the family. We've put it to use in our family and I know my boys will grow up having a wonderful relationship with Matt and me but there's just something about father/son relationships that are so special. Unfortuanely, not everyone has a good father/son relationship.
That is sweet Jill....I'm so glad you are happier now in Mesa...Brad is a great guy.
