Garage Sale Globe

We always had a globe in our house growing up. We used to spin it and then stop it by stabbing one finger onto the surface. Wherever you were pointing was where you were going on your mission. That was the game. Sure we pointed somewhere new each time and invalidated our previous spin. I'm not claiming there was any logic to the game, but we loved it. I wonder if my brothers remember that?
I bought a globe for $7 at a garage sale recently. I hope someday our kids use it to see where they'll go on missions. For now, it's use is for me to visualize how far away Brad will be for the next 16 days. He leaves for South Africa in 47 hours. 4 of those 16 days will be spent traveling to and from the other side of the earth. It's going to be a LONG 16 days for all of us.
