REUNITED and it feels so good!

So I did it. I took the babe to Vegas and it was great! He seemed to love sleeping in the pack-n-play so maybe that's my new secret weapon. He even slept through some of his cousin Eli's sirenesque crying spells. (This kid is totally hilarious, man. His mouth opens twice as wide as Cohen's and his volume is off the charts!) I'm glad we went. I got to see two of my Utah roommates (Michelle and Vanese), Liz and I took our boys to the Bilogio and Urban Outfiters, and I can I tell you that Vegas has some fantastic public parks! The Dinosaur Park we went to had this GIANT jungle gym (Swiss Family Robinson style) with 6 or 8 big tube slides and lots of lofts and rope ladders for climbing. They also have a water park with that foamy floor and lots of water shooting up from the ground or falling from big trees or buckets. I dont have any pictures because our camera was on another continent with Brad, but it was all very enjoyable.

Brad surprised us by coming home Monday night instead of Thursday. So he was able to pick us up at the airport when we got in Tuesday morning. My dear, darling, sweet husband forgot where he parked our car at the airport. We spent nearly an hour looking on every level before we finally called security. Brad kept saying, "Welcome home guys! Did you miss me?" Who knew there are east and west elevators? We were in the entirely wrong section and eventually found the car.

We ended our day of reunification with Brad's brother's wedding reception. Sean finally married Becky last week after 4 years of dating! I enjoy her and am glad for another amazing sister-in-law. Our little Cohen missed the festivities because (as the doctor confirmed today) he has another round of double ear infections and a fever of 104.7... so he stayed home with THE WORLD'S BEST BABYSITTER. (She's 21, she drives, she loves kids, you can call her last minute, she's a mother's dream come true!)

I'll get some pictures up soon. Cohen is signing "more", "please", and "all done" as well as saying "yes" and "no". It's DARLING! (You can find out how to sign any word at http://commtechlab.msu.edu/SITES/ASLWEB/browser.htm)

You're parking lot story reminds me of Seinfield.

You should hire Cathy as your 21-year-old awesome babysitter. She has professional references. Or you could hire her friend Briley. She'd be good cause she already knows the layout of your house.

So glad for the update! What was Brad doing in Africa, by the way, and why did he get to come home early?? E-mail me the details, I'm curious. We left the dome light in our car on last time we flew to Phoenix and our car was dead when we got back to Seattle, if that makes you feel any better. The airport has a service where they jump your car . . . cost us $25 bucks!!

Cohen knows sign language?

Well he only knows those 3 signs so far but we're working on water, help, and food. It's so helpful cuz they can tell you what the want before they can actually say the words.

We taught Morgan sign language and the only one that stuck was 'more'. We have your Price is Right video and cansolidators. Let me know when you want them.
