Exhibit A: Bedtime Routine.
Instead of watching a lame TV show or filling online shopping carts with things I'm never going to actually buy, I'd be so much happier if I spent my evening:
- Picking up the house for 20 minutes so I dont wake up to a mess. (This includes starting the dishwasher and putting away all the clutter and toys)
- Planning for tomorrow. (Checking the calendar to make sure I dont miss appointments, start a To-Do list for the next day, decide what to make for breakfast so we dont eat cereal AGAIN)
- Focus on me (I often neglect to wash my face cuz I'm too tired... It's so idiotic cuz I break out every time! So I need to retire to my room at a decent hour, religiously wash my face, brush my teeth, take vitamins, write in my journal, read for fun, listen to music, stretch, play Boggle in bed with Brad, pray, meditate, etc)
Doesn't that sound DREAMY compared to computer or TV time?!
