Our week in pictures

I found the boys Batman and Robin costumes on Craigslist! Cohen wanted us to refer to him as Batman while he was in costume. We'd have to say, "Are you hungry, Batman?" "Find your shoes, Batman." etc

I also found these on ebay. We're the 1987 World Ice Dancing Champions. At our adult party we won 2nd place for originality, creativity and scariest!

Our front yard looks like it's covered in green carpet! It's fantastic!

We love watching the planes at Falcon Field. That's where we spend our family time when the weather is nice.

Brad's family painted pumpkins on Monday night.
(Both of my grandmothers would be ashamed of my posture.)

Jace LOVES food! He's already eating 3 stage twos a day. That's a ton of food for his tiny body. At his 6 month check up, the Doc said he may need more calories than what I'm providing him. 16 pounds is nothing to be worried about, if you ask me.

Oma and Opa (in Germany) sent Cohen a paint book and a bag of gummies! Look at his expression over a gummy hot dog!

Cute snot face #1

Cute snot face #2
(Look at those lashes!)

Despite his initial excitement over Batman, Cohen wouldn't wear the costume when it came down to it. He wore this Woody costume to his play school party and Trick or Treating. (Yes, we referred to him as Woody while in costume.) When he'd get to each door, he'd hide behind my leg and barely squeak out a "Trick or Treating". He had almost as much fun giving out candy as he did getting it. Kids would come to our door and he was totally in charge of dishing out the goods.

He's so old to me all of the sudden. Size 10 shoes! What's that about? When I drop him off at play school, he says, "I do it myself, ok Mom?" He gets out of the van, tells me and Jace bye, runs up the walkway and knocks on the door while I sit and watch!

He's 2 going on 7.

Jill, you are such a fun mom! I love that you came to the elementary school parade so your kids could enjoy the fun time. You are awesome! I am laughing so hard at you & Brad in the ice skating costumes--Brad is a way good sport! And after seeing your grass in person last week, I have to say it is the greenest in the neighborhood--you win the prize! Great post.
