This last week has found one of us with lots of free time to blog. The other one of us hasn't really had time to eat or pee.
One of us had surgery last Friday and is enduring a fairly extensive recovery including room service and hours in bed reading, watching movies and surfing the web. That same one of us is not allowed to lift anything over 15 pounds for 8 more days. (Mind you, everyone in our house weighs more than 15 pounds.) I'm so used to Brad's very hands-on parenting and this week has been a hard lesson in single parenting. No thank you. Bless all who do it but I am certainly not cut out for this long term.
Sweet Brad... This hernia surgery was a way bigger deal than we expected. He thought he'd be back at work yesterday. Only today is he starting to walk around a bit. We're glad it's taken care of and he's on the mend.
Too bad he has another one and we'll be going through this again soon...

YUCK. So sorry it's been hard. Can I bring you dinner Saturday?
Another one? Ugh. I hope we didn't cause additional damage working him like a rented mule. You guys are our MVPs fo showr.
