Let me tell you a story...

It all begin with red light on my way home from 8 or 9 hours of work. It was a HOT June day. I was tired and admittedly driving on auto pilot. I turned right at said red light, only to get pulled over and ticketed. It's one of the dumbest laws of our land. There's no consistency what-so-ever. Most red lights, turn away. But not this one. So I get a ticket and stuff it in my purse.

Cue pregnancy. And sickness. And exhaustion. And no time for thinking.

Fast forward two months to when I realize I've missed my court date and done nothing about the ticket. I call the court and find out my license is suspended and my only option is to get a ride to the court to pay $190. Awesome. I can probably find it in the couch cushions cuz thats total chump change to us. grrrrr...

That totally stinks! I got a speeding ticket a few months back and missed my court date too. I just asked for an extension and I'm going to defensive driving school. Super price still.

oh man, I did that same red light thing when I was living there. Totally inconsistant. So sorry about that. Oh just write a letter to the judge and tell him you're so sorry and pregnant and be real nice and blead your case and see what they do. I did that once and they changed it to a parking ticket for like 30 bucks. Or see if you can do community service or something??? may work? may not?

We learned about obeying laws in Sunday School today. I guess you should have maybe come to visit to brush up a little.
