I've been nesting

I finally moved all the baby furniture out of Cohen's room and into the new baby's room. Thus, Cohen got a new bookshelf and reading chair and I made the valance for his curtains. He's still in the crib but I figure I have 2-3 months to find him a bed and do the transition.

This is where I found him the other day... just hanging out in the yard with some toilet paper and an old #10 can. I dont know why we buy toys, honestly!
Funny things he says right now:
  • "Yooka mommy! Yook at me!" (watch me jump, throw, breath, whatever.)
  • "Come here RIGHT NOW!" (wonder where he got that?)
  • "Helping me, Daddy?" (Can you help me?)
  • "Where Daddy go?"
  • "By you Mommy?" (sit by me while I watch a movie)
  • "Tiny" (this applies to everything, even Grandmas!)

PS- At the doctor yesterday, I was dialated to a 1 and 50% efaced, which is better than I ever did on my own with Cohen. Next appointment is the 16th.

Love his room! Nice sewing. And I know what you mean about toys, my kids have tons of fun with boxes and empty paper towel tubes! Come on baby boy! By the way - do you have a name yet?

15 days to go? Dang! I'm really out of touch! Is that a gag? I fell like I haven't even seen you pregnant with this one. Crazy man!

I finally have a blog! I can now come out of the closet from being a blog surfer and not leaving comments.

I swear I am more productive when I'm pregnant (even though I am DEAD tired) because nesting lasts about the last 6 months for me.
Very cute room. :)

And BTW I need to email you about some bread-making Q's, but I don't have your email. Mine is on my profile. Thanks!!

The room looks cute! I'm excited for your little guy to arrive, I want to see him, and I'm DYING to see what you end up naming him.

or you can leave cohen in the crib and put the baby in a pack n play for a while. crib is the safest place for toddlers(until he can climb out) and he may feel displaced when he has to give his bed to the baby.
