Brad, the RAD DAD

My brother Jeff and I drove up to Holbrook yesterday for a holiday visit with our grandparents. It was such a great trip. My Grandpa is awesome. He is so level-headed and kind and logical. He chooses to make lemonade out of lemons and is never offended. He's lovely. So we spent a few hours with him and then went to my Grandma's for a few hours. Jeff and I washed Grandma's windows and visited before she treated us to dinner at El Rancho. We drove her convertible VW around town looking at Christmas lights too. My grandparents were so grateful that we came which made it that much more enjoyable for us.

The trip was made possible entirely thanks to my selfless husband. He offered to stay home with all 6 kids so that Jeff and I could just make a quick kid-less drive. Here's a sampling of Brad's day:

He took the kids to San Tan Village to play, hold puppies at the pet store, bike ride to a park, and then Costco for ice-cream. They loved it, we loved it, my Grandparents loved it. Brad didn't complain once. He's the best. :)

That's AMAZING! He's a good daddy for sure. I think I would have stayed home with 6 kids. :) Glad you got to get away for a bit and see your grandparents.
