Now that they've been gone a few years, I can think of them without crying every time. Not only did they make everyone feel welcome and important but they also radiated their beliefs. It was so nice to hear them bear testimony so often in word and action. I remember when I was a kid and I'd spend the night at their house, one of my favorite things was to get up really early and sit at the kitchen table with them while they read scriptures, did crossword puzzles and discussed world and local events. Anything good I am, I owe to them. They taught me so much about kindness and generosity. They radiated unconditional love. Most importantly, they offered countless opportunities for me to feel the Spirit and to solidify my own testimony of Jesus Christ. For that, I am eternally grateful to them.
